Munnar:

Munnar is a city in a mountain range in the Western Ghats. It is number 1 in our list of hill stations in South India. It is in Kerala. It used to be a summer resort for the British before independence. The entire area is surrounded by hills and adjoining tea gardens. All these tea gardens belong to the 19th century.

Ooty:

Ooty is a mountain town in the Western Ghat Mountains. The city is located in the state of Tamil Nadu, the main attraction of Ooty, a 55-acre government botanical garden located on the slope of Doddabetta Peak. One of the other major attractions is the Steam railway line, Stone House - a 19th-century residence, and St. Stephen's Church, built in about 1829.


Idduki:

Idukki district is a densely forested, hilly region in the Western Ghats of Kerala. One of the most beautiful hill stations in South India. To the north of Idukki, there is Eravikulam National Park. Eravikulam National Park is the place where the rare blue Nilkurinji flower blooms every 12 years. To its south are the Idukki Dam and Periyar National Park, a tiger and elephant reserve.

Kodaikonal:

At a height of over 2000 meters, Kodai as it is fondly called is amazing. Kodaikanal is a hill town in Tamil Nadu. It has valleys, lakes, waterfalls, and beautiful hills. It is one of the most popular hill stations in South India. In the middle of the evergreen forest is a man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal lake. Here you can go boating, and pedestrians and cyclists can roam around the shoreline on the 5-kilometer lake road.

Coorg:

Coorg is a quiet district of Karnataka, which is a beautiful and world class coffee estate, famous for various wildlife. These are very popular hill stations in South India and in Karnataka.
