The Ramanathaswamy Temple is one of the sacred shrines of the Hindus. This holy shrine is located in the Ramanathapuram district of Tamil Nadu. Badrinath, Dwarka, Jagannath Puri, and Rameswaram Yatra have their own significance in Indian scriptures. This shrine is one of the four dhams of Hindus.
Apart from this, the Shivling installed in the temple is considered to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. This temple is also known as Ramanathaswamy Temple. It is a Hindu temple of Lord Shiva which is a famous temple throughout the country. Every year lakhs of devotees reach Rameswaram for darshan.
